CIM Level 4

The CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional & Digital Marketing will establish your knowledge, provide you with the skill and understanding to be able to perform within the position of a marketing executive and to carry out an essential and successful professional marketing role within the workplace.

 

Entry Requirements

One or more of the following is required to gain entry onto this qualification:

  • CIM Level 3 Introductory Certificate in Marketing qualification or CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Marketing or CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Professional Marketing or CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing.
  • Any relevant Level 3 qualification.
  • An equivalent Level 3 Apprenticeship such as the Multi-channel Marketer or Marketing Assistant would also be accepted. CIM will consider other equivalent Marketing Apprenticeships.
  • Any UK Degree or International equivalent.
  • International Baccalaureate (equivalent to NQF Level 3 and above).
  • Professional practice (suggested one year in a marketing role) and diagnostic assessment onto Level 4.
  • Evidence of achieving one of the following English Language qualifications within the last two years if English is not your first language: IELTS Academic Module with overall score of 6.5 (each component pass mark must be 6.0 or above) or Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English grade B or above. CIM will consider other equivalent alternatives.

Planning Integrated Campaigns

This module will provide an understanding of how content plays a crucial role in the customer lifecycle and how audiences interact with both digital and traditional media channels. You will learn how to create integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, online and offline, and how to measure their effectiveness.

Content Marketing

This module provides the knowledge and skills to successfully create content to support marketing goals. You will learn how different content formats can be used within digital campaigns to support the customer journey as well as the impact developing technology can have on content production. You will gain the skills to produce a suitable content plan to support organisational initiatives.

Customer Experience

MarTech

This module develops knowledge on the importance and application of MarTech including Artificial Intelligence (AI) within organisations. You will learn how MarTech can be used across the customer journey to support paid campaigns, social media activities and to support customer relationships. Candidates will gain the understanding to analyse web analytics outputs and make suitable recommendations for the future.

Social Media Marketing

This module provides the knowledge and skills to develop and implement successful social media marketing activities. You will learn how to apply a range of social media channels and produce suitable content to enhance an organisation’s digital activities.

Search Engine Optimisation

This module focuses on the importance of search engine marketing for organisations as part of their digital marketing activities. You will learn the key success factors for Search Engine Optimisation as well as understand effective paid search campaigns to achieve marketing goals.

Integrated Communications

Responsible Marketing

This module provides an understanding of the significance of taking an ethical and responsible approach to marketing. You will understand why transparency and authenticity are fast becoming a core part of marketing planning and communications, and, look at the significant role marketing plays in supporting and measuring the organisational social, ethical and sustainability agendas.
